- Ray Reynolds's passion for photography began shooting scenic pictures on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mabry Mill. Ray honed his photographic skills following AAU basketball and by providing photography for fund raisers,volunteering his services to the Race For the Cure which over 10,000 people attended and being the personal photographer for the Houston Astro's rookie baseball team in Greeneville Tennessee. Ray has spent years as a contributing newspaper sports photographer and photo shoots for the Smith Mountain Laker Magazine. He has gained recognition for The Jennifer Short Memorial Bike Ride which Ray established and for having an eye catching shot of the Houston Astro's catcher J.R.Towles hitting the tying homerun that helped the Greeneville Astro's win the League Championship.The image is so impressive that it is placed on the stadium wall at the entrance of Pioneer Park. Ray brings his unmatched style to the events, portraits and weddings that he shoots. As a wedding photographer, he shoots the event as an unfolding story allowing the couple to enjoy their day. His style also comes across in the portraits,sports and events that he shoots.
